This past Formula One season was full of drama.  You had your liars (World Champion Lewis Hamilton), your cheaters (Flavio Briatore & Renault), your dissenters (FOTA), and your Nazi S&M freaks (Max Mosely)...  But what you had the most of was the Cinderella story of the humble BrawnGP team.

Totally out of the ashes of the defunt Honda team came BrawnGP.  And the pheonix rose.  Litterally only weeks before the season began.  On an unproven, untested car, they went out there with totally nothing to lose, they won both the constructors championship, and Jenson Button took the drivers crown.

The great thing about this team was that for the most part they didn't really involve themselves with all the craziness of the 2009 Championship Series.  They stuck to themselves, focused on winning, and did everything that could be asked.  Hey, come on nobody knew if they had a job this year.  Not even long time driver Rubens Barrichello.

Which leads to the only downer for the team all season long.  Poor Rubens.  Even after 283 Forumla One starts, all beginning in 1993, he's yet to be a champion.  Stuck behind Schumacher all those years, and now behind Button, ouch... But he was close, and he fought it tooth and nail.  Just that his hometown race the Brazilian Grand Prix is not his track to win.  And we might not see him racing with Brawn next season as well.  Rubens don't worry, there's not a Formula One fan out there the doesn't love ya!  You're the ironman of F1 with the most races.  It'll be a long time until that record gets broken.  You rule Rubens.

Things weren't so honky dory for BrawnGP.  Eventhough they had genius Ross Brawn running the team they did have a tough time.  The start was simply awesome, amazing, insane, and stupendous.  But since June, it looked like the team was just holding on to what they did at the start.  Except for Rubens.  When things got tough, he nailed a couple strong wins.  It was if the rest of the teams caught on to BrawnGP's diffuser secret, and developed some really strong cars.  Especially Red Bull.

After the second race Ephman bought a Jenson hat.  You have a fan BrawnGP.  Eventhough at the beginning of the season your website sucked, you had no sponsors, and everybody counted you out, you showed them all in the grandest style of all.  Winning with class.  Great stuff.
