Ephman's been all over. And South America is one of his favorite spots on the planet. Can you believe he's never been to Peru? Although he's pretty good at figuring out where to go and what to do, but there just seems to be so much of that in this small country. It's been getting hard to find his way though.
For the most part he's figured out his itinerary of flights for his 15 days in Peru:
Flying overnight into Lima (nice business class upgrade). But out the next day for 3 days in Iquitos. Thinking some camping in the jungle? Good idea? Maybe a Ayahuasca session? Off to Cusco the next day for only a day, and then taking a train to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Big fan of UNESCO heritage sites. Been to a bunch, so Ephman's really excited about this one. Actually a friend of his (Nancy), used to sleep up there under the stars... a little jealous. But he's not treking the Inca Trail. Just don't have the four days to set aside for that. After Machu Picchu, back to Cusco for 2 more days. Máncora here he comes!!! Gotta have his beach days, and this town close the Ecuador border seems to be a cool spot. There are questions though...
But for instance, while in Lima, what are some great restaurants, or good bands to check out? Anything to see that locals go to, that can't be missed? In Iquitos is it worth doing an Ayahuasca session? And what Shamans do you trust? What about Cusco is it worth hanging out there, or should Ephman stay in the Sacred Valley? Out of the whole schedule, Mancora is the easiest.. beach town, Ephman's specialty. Oh yeah, Ephman's big on local festivals when he travels. See the dates above? Know of any?
