The Most Honest And Best Romantic Wedding Songs

As Ephman started to compile this list of the best most romantic love songs for his sister Sara & friend's Barb's wedding he realized there was a pattern emerging.  See it's finding out you need to go to a wedding season.  Spring is coming fast.  And the invitations are in the mail.  Your marriage has got to start off on the right foot.  And why not be real with the music you select at your wedding?

As Ephman was compiling this list he noticed that a trend was appearing.  Something that happens in every relationship.  You start fighting, you lose some feelings of love, you question if you should stay in the marriage, and then the big decision... So in the respect that the season presents the best most honest wedding song list ever.

AC/DC - Highway to Hell

How many times have you been driving around town, or the highway, or in Ephman's case along the Pacific Coast Highway up by Big Sur, AND WANTED TO KICK YOUR PASSENGER WIFE OUT!!!  Usually it's for back seat driving.  See he's known to not really be the best driver.  Not because he hits stuff.  But because he likes to get to places quickly.

Elvis Presley - You've Lost That Loving Feeling

Let's be honest... every relationship loses that feeling.  You know what Ephman is talking about.  You're totally crazy over this person for a few years, and then like year 6 it's kind of gone.  You still love them, you'd die for them, take a bullet, whatever... But still there's something that you used to share that made this relationship so special is missing.  Not gone, moment of it comes back.  Hey it might explain the seven year itch?

The Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go

OMG how many times when you're fighting do you think about this?  Really we all do.  On some level.  For some it's more important.  If we never thought about it people the 41% divorce rate would be like 0%.  They just seem to explain it really well in this tune.  And nobody knows better about the craziness of relationships then a bunch of punk anarchists?

The Smiths - I know It's Over

Alright after you get past that song above... this one starts to kick in.  This song is for the people that make up that 41%.  And probably another 10% - 15% that wish they could say what Morrisey says here.  Then again it's Morrisey probably one of the most depressing singer/songwriters on the planet.  Makes old blues men from the delta happy shiney people REM sings about.

Crosby Still & Nash - Love The One You're With

And this song is for the 59% of us that won't get a divorce.  Because really after you've gone through all the stages of "why am I here?", you end up with this.  And really this is what it's all about.  You need to be realistic.  Listen, Ephman loved Ari Meyers from Kate & Allie, is he married to her?  No.  Maybe he wanted to stalk her (ok that just sound creepy).  The moral, love the person you're will unconditionally.
