Growing up with a last name of something a sailor says when he gets back from onshore leave has got to be tough.  But Bruce Cockburn (pronounced Co-burn) over came his name disability to be one of his generations finest singer songwriters.   And he's one of the best guitar players out there.  A total musician's musician.  Amazing.  Which is the reason Ephman's going... plus the venue City Winery is great.

Nothing wrong with spending an evening drinking great wine, and listening to songs about rocket launchers.  He's really hoping though that it won't just be Bruce and guitar.  As great a player he is... a band will probably be needed to keep Ephman's attention longer then 4 songs.  If not there won't be any crying.  But a drum machine won't hurt either :)

It'd be a really fun experiment to one day take Bruce's songs and put them to Punk.  Because a lot of those songs are really FU to "da Man".   Ephman's just saying.  Oh and thanks to th CBC for the photo.
