This is going to be a fantastic show.  Even if you have no idea who they are (which is possible).  Youtube their names up and listen/watch a bit of them.  Loudon (dad), is an old folk, with some witty songs.  Martha's digs on that contemporary singer/songwriter stuff.  Rufus on the otherhand seems to have the most unique sound.  And probably the most recognizable name.  Except if you loved the cult classic TV show Undeclared, and he's Hal.

So this show is basically a Loudon show.  He's got a new album out.  It's named High Wide and Handsome, the Charlie Poole Project.  Now Ephman hasn't heard it yet.  He will though before the show.  So don't worry when you come back to read the review, and watch a little video, he'll know what's what.

Aside from Loudon's children performing, The Roches will be there.  And maybe a few other special guests?  But the special thing about this show is that it'll be the only live performance of the album with the people that recorded it.  Cool right?

Anyways Ephman lives not to far from Highline Ballroom.  But this is going to be interesting.  Totally think the 3 of them can play a larger venue.  Happy they're not.  Ephman's gut is that this intimate place will make for a fun evening.  Really looking forward to seeing them all play!
