So the hot topics for today are some hockey playing bears.  What's up with that?  Ephman would bet against the Toronto Maple Laughs any day.  Also some cool mobile social companies out there.  And a great video on how to make your own bike lane.  This and more from the rss feeds of the day.

WOW let's just say if Google was a hockey player they'd be a goal suck!  They have totally overtaken all of Ephman's RSS feeds with new releases.  But thre real news is all about Tiger Wood's OD, and rabid racoons in Central Park.  So step inside and follow up with Ephman's awesome RSS Review.

Wow.  Ephman came home a few months ago and found this alien bug on his door.  See Ephman doesn't get to hang out with too many non-human wildlife these days.

Skeletor has totally sold out!  Look he's now doing windows for Marc Jacobs.  That's ok he must have had his ass kicked by He-Man and now has nothing else to do.

Biston Betularia live in NYC?  What?  We only thought that rats, cockroaches, & pigeons were the natives.  But look at what Ephman found...  Cool right?

This dink-off is the worst cop in NYC's West Village.  Gave me a ticket for honking at him.  He was sitting at  a green light for 30 seconds before he got the hoot from Ephman.  $345 fine.  This is for you Officer Boner ;)

Ephman saw this play and had to check out the free show they put on in Bryant Park.  The big actors were missing, oh well, you get what you pay for.

Ah you might think that all NYC street fairs are the same... but this is a festival.  So it's not full of gross food, cheap clothes, and yucky people bugging to give you a street massage.

Always awesome to see a surprise performance of anything.  Stomp did a small performance in Bryant Park.  Luckily Ephman works across the street and captured this fine dance.  BTW don't you think that must be the cleanest stage int he world?

Living in NYC Ephman makes sure he looks up.  So much of the city lives upstairs... and he's not talking about the pigeons.

Ephman met this band in a strange turn of events.  His wife was buying a dress in Reykjavik, at the Naked Ape, and the guy helping said "I'm in a rock and roll band want to come see us play?"...

Gotta tell ya, Ephman is a fan of this Tex-Mex music scene.  And right now one of the hottest bands out there is Calexico.  It's totally worth clicking through and watching them play from a Radio City Music Hall show Ephman taped of theirs.

Here's a sort of odd band Ephman ran into one evening.  They're an eight piece amplified ensemble.  Right when they were introduced to the stage Ephman thought Orwell's 1984, and had the feeling that they'd be some creepy music played.  This band is interesting, and have this sort of got this real early Pink Floydish sound to them when they jam.  Might be that both bands share a strong appreciation for Classical music (or maybe not).

Please go and see this documentary!  Anvil is a band Ephman remembers growing up.  This goes down as one of the finest "What ever happened to..." stories.
