All the pieces were in place for one of those legendary concerts Ephman always talks about.  Especially with special surprise guest from Steely Dan, Donald Fagen on stage... But this show just left Ephman feeling "why?".  Was it for the money?  Was it to promote his new album?  Was because he didn't want to get sued for pulling out?  Levon should have just stayed home in Woodstock and got better.

Ephman has been a BIG BIG BIG The Band fan for years and years.  So when Levon Helm booked a gig at Terminal 5 it was a no brainer.  Ephman was on his way.  Especially since Ephman had other plans the last few times Levon played NYC.

Let's just say that if you weren't at Terminal 5 on September 1st you weren't anywhere.  This was 100% the place to be.  Michael Franti & Spearhead with guest Cherine Anderson created one really cool vibration.  Almost a rasta vibration.

It was like 900 degrees inside Terminal 5 on the west side of Manhattan... but that wasn't only because there was no air conditioning.  Check out the video Ephman took and watch a classic but quick drum solo by Jack White.

Ephman's been a fan of Michael Franti & Spearhead for a long long time mon.  There's a little bit of everything in this guy's music, and the reggae part just makes you want to go mmmmmmmm.  What a beat this fellow has.  He's playing at Terminal 5, and it should be a rockin' show.
