Hi everybody today is December 10 that year is 2009 welcome to Ephman's RSS review and currently Ephman follows 93 different feeds across a variety of different topics. Here's Ephman key index on what is hot in the RSS world.
And for the last few days it looks like Google is hot. Google is always hot and it kind of makes me want to throw up in. Google's done a lot of new releases let's say over the last couple days of one of the most important ones actually has been the new Google Chrome and let's see what TechCrunch has to say. It's actually a beta version for both Macintosh and Linux and they also said that they're going to release extensions for that later on, but just to just not yet. It might be worthwhile to go and take a look at the new Chrome browser by Google for Linux.
They've also released ive brand-new things, aside from Google Chrome and Search Engine Watch Blog had a pretty good article of written about it just the other day. There is now real-time integration of news in your search results so when you search for something and news the latest tweets show up and blog posting in your news underneath starts starts to scroll in with your search. Japanese voice search, what's nearby in Google Maps... So Ephman guess his mobile phone iPhone or an android to tell you what's close to where you are lot of apps out there that do that but now it's nice to have it in a google map.
Google Goggles -- is really cool let's go to the website. Google Goggles essentially what it does is you take a picture of something shooting over to Google Goggles and it brings you back search results kind of cool take a picture of below go and gives you back the information take a picture of where you are and it tells you where you are, so that's a pretty interesting app coming out of Google kind of scary going to follow you with.
Jimmy Wales founder of Wikipedia joined the board of hunch.com. This is an interesting new way of searching or I'd guess at least making a decision. I'm making a decision about stocks, because that's the kind of business Ephman is in should Ephman invest in the stock market? Then it askes you another question? Have you invested in any stocks in the past three months? Well that's a yes Ephman. How much monthly income do you invest let's say 10%. So it's kind of an interesting way of coming to a decision by drilling down in yes no yes no yes no questions. they've got all these different suggestions underneath here. Like men's jeans. So is the founder of Wikipedia has joined the cofounder of Flickr for that new product.
Some loser out there actually has to have a whole bunch of their iPhone apps pulled off of the iTunes catalog because guess what.? They were fooling around with their rating scales, they gave themselves 43 five stars. Okay meanwhile, the the two people that did buy the apps gave it one star. If you're going to cheat at least make it look believable right?
This is good of you like Twitter. From TechCrunch. 50,000 apps to date has been spawned out of Twitter. Twitter might not be making money, but the people making the maps for Twitter are definitely making money and that's kind of cool. If you want to follow Ephman on Twitter you can @ephman.
Ephman just saw $80 million for Lala.com. Lala is a streaming music thing . Apple just bought that and will be integrated into the path iTunes program so you know, there was a fire sale, just like anything else that's being sold today.
This is really cool this is out of GadgetLab from Wired and isn't that great. Now bionic fingers that can pick up Lego pieces there is a video here, here it is let's play a little bit. So now you can touch keys on the keyboard and puts it as any other really good set of finger moves. And so that's really need almost like joints, so hopefully that can help out and a lot of people who could really use that. The hand, which is pretty advanced compared to what other a bionics kind of look like these days so bionic man he is coming and probably already here.
Watch out for the crazed raccoons in Central Park. Apparently there are now rabid raccoons running wild in Central Park, but the good news is that there have been no human cases of rabies in New York City since 1953. I'd love to just see one case, one case can bring this whole city down.
TMZ.com reported that Tiger Woods admitted to hospital with an overdose that definitely did not happen. It was supposed to be a mixture of Ambien and Vicodin. Yummy, but the looks like TMZ.com got that way, way wrong.
In two days, RSS world however has always saved a couple good blog posts just to a see what's what around their sell part of a Cinematical via Toronto film Festival is pick their top 10 the Toronto International Film Festival is one of the most important film festival.
Fernando Alonso, Formula One driver doesn't feel as though not filling up your tank of gas as you're driving around the race at pitstops isn't going to change his driving style. that extra fuels can add weight to the rear and add more pressure.
