Hockey Playing Bears, Mobile Social, & Disobedience

Welcome to Ephman's RSS review it is December 10, 2009 and currently Ephman follows 92 different feeds across a variety of different topics. So let's see what's hot in the last couple days in the RSS world.

Here it looks like Mashable, TechCrunch, Bumpershine, just all the regular blogs have been talking about Vevo. Ephman guesses it is the Hulu for music videos. Here's Michael Jackson's Thriller, which is actually number 10 right on the list. Seems like they have an ad driven model. They play an ad then you get to watch Michael Jackson's thriller.

The next thing that is the cool five cool things you need to know about the Google Chrome extensions. And so you know Google chrome the other day was released for both Macintosh and Linux in beta version. But so there are a few things that need to be know, there are no extensions for the Mac or Linux yet. It's only in beta.

celebritytweet.com was bought by Russell Simmons and you can take a look over here these are all the different twitter account that are followed all the different celebrities that come celebrity tweaked.com.

Mashable and TechCrunch wrote about that here something really interesting website called QIK. It provides live video streaming from your mobile phone. So that's kind of cool.

Location-based social networking. The gowalla.com pretty cool just picked up some cash to keep going. So you can now know where your friends are and play. Their actually an Austin-based company. Austin Texas lots of stuff comes out of Austin Texas these days.

Let's see what we've saved over the last day or so. For you hockey fans boing boing.net just to have found this video of bears playing ice hockey. Ephman is a big hockey fan. These Bears could beat the Toronto Maple Leafs any day of the week. Check this out, great pass up, and being able control the puck and they can skate and these are not people dressed up in there. They are actually real Bears playing hockey.

Okay, and on that note, a little civil disobedience never hurt anybody. Hipsters in Brooklyn are making their own bicycle lanes check this out. Very cool stuff, and welcome to Brooklyn people Williamsburg Brooklyn. And this is a how-to video on how to make your own bicycle lane. A little bit of paint, a roller, and a lot of guts, and you have yourself your very own private bicycle lane. If you have a stencil for the actual bicycle just paint in the lines and bike. It becomes a real life bicycle lane in New York City. More people should be doing stuff like that.

BBC News, a Nigerian ex-governor in a fraud raid. By the way Ephman probably stop doing these podcasts as Ephman is close to receiving $120 million from an e-mail that he answered.

Smoking is now killing 5 million people every year, so please stop smoking. No reason to smoke, easier to quit, then it is for them to pull a lung out of you.

Thank you for stopping by, and that has been today's RSS review
