Looks like Lotus has finally made their decision on who will be driving for them next season. Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen. This is actually a great call. Unfortunately Jacques Villeneuve, who Ephman was hoping would get a ride with Lotus cause the rumors are going around, actually believes this is a better pairing. You got Jarno, who is such an vetren driver who shall bring a lot of experience to the team. Heikki Kovalainen, he is a young driver with a lot of experience and a definitely one of the nicer people are nicer drivers on the track. So hopefully a big fan base can be set up behind Lotus. This is not the Lotus we know from the 007 movies. This is actually a Malaysian investment group that have the rights to use the brand name Lotus and don't think they use any Lotus technology inside these cars.

Here's something in the Wall Street Journal, but VentureBeat is also talking about it. AOL is selling ICQ to our Digital Sky Technologies. ICQ if you remember correctly was one of was the first chat software that was out there in the came from Israel so it looks like AOL doesn't want or need them. Maybe this will save them a little bit of money since they got spun out of TimeWarner.

Although the Wall Street Journal broke the story, it's looking like in Gadget Lab Google's phone in January will be sold. So it's running android 2.1 headset by. Basically it's designed by Google but built by HTC. It's called the Google Nexus one we spoke about it yesterday on the blog. they are going to sell it unlock. So it will be interesting to see how AT&T and all the other a large cellular networks react to this. They are going outside the regular norm business model of having the phone heavily subsidized by the carriers like T-Mobile and obviously doesn't sell their phones for the full price. Ephman really hopes this phone comes out soon, like in early Janurary. Really sick really sick of the iPhone. Yesterday dropped 6 calls over a 10 minute time frame with the same person. This is in Manhattan, New York City, kind of sad.

nVidia is Ephman's video card company. They now have a 3D Blu-Ray playback acceleration technology. It is something that Ephman really really wants to check out. They give you 3D glasses. It plays 3D Blu-Ray. They will be unveiling this product the Consumer Electronics Show this January.

One of the coolest "search engines" Wolfram Alpha's iPhone app is on sale right now for $19.99 in the iTunes store. It is generally an applicatio that goes for $50. One of the more expensive apps, but Wolfram, La nail $50 according to search engine land in iTunes.

Let's go to something that just makes Ephman want to throw up. This is out of the New York Post. you remember Ashley Dupre? She was the hooker that was having sex with Eliot Spitzer, the governor of New York. She now has an Ask Ashley section in the New York Post. It's all about sex questions. "How do I know if my daughter may be getting into trouble?" and she gives this really most retarded answer. Here's another question "Which the no fail Christmas gift I can get my wife that will make her feel special and loved" Ashley's answer is "you know it's the little things that married people sometimes forget and spending romantics alone time together". Ephman just wants to throw up. Do not believe that this New York Post is going to keep her around too much if she's giving out advice like that.
